I’m based in Delhi and planning to prepare for FRM. I’ve spoken to a few people and checked some classes, but honestly, I’m still not clear what actually helps in the long run.
Some say coaching is useful for discipline, some say it’s mostly self-study anyway. Delhi has enough options, but before committing time and money, I want to hear from people who’ve actually prepared for FRM while staying in Delhi.
What helped you the most here classroom learning, peers, faculty, or something else entirely?
And if you took coaching, was it genuinely useful or just okay-ish?

As someone who prepped in Delhi, what helped most was structure + accountability. FRM is heavy self-study anyway, but coaching kept me disciplined. I studied with Quintedge faculty clarity and regular doubt discussions mattered more than fancy classrooms. Peers helped, but consistency mattered the most.
I prepared in Delhi and joined Quintedge. What helped most was structured planning and clear explanations for quants and risk topics. It wasn’t magic, but definitely better than struggling alone.
